P500 Kulang Pa Pang-ospital: Sandugo US Embassy Protester Complains of Being Underpaid

The violent dispersal during the rally in front of US Embassy resulted not only to multiple complains against police and protesters themselves, but some odd news starting to appear.
Several members of Sandugo – the team who organized the rally shared their regrets online after many suffered injuries during the dispersal
A woman who identified herself as Mariana from Ormoc City said, she and four of her friends were recruited to join the peaceful protest in return they will receive P500 from the organizer.
Since they are jobless and needed to find means, they agreed only to be sent to hospital after the violent dispersal.
Marina is a a typhoon Yolanda refugee who lost her family. She and her two friends are sleeping anywhere during night time.
She said the P500 pesos that they received is not even enough to buy food, much more to buy medicine for their injuries.
Police were criticized over the violent dispersal, but full length videos suggests that it was the protesters who started the chaos. /Mildred Palma/
