Ariel Rivera expressed support to Duterte 'Root of our problem is corruption and drugs at tinatarget ni Duterte yan, Good for him'

Ayon sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), sinusuportahan ni singer actor Ariel Rivera si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang ginagawang laban ngayon.

Ayon kay Ariel, dapat talagang puksain ng Pangulo ang korapsyon na malaking probleman ng Pilipinas.

“I've always said from the very beginning, one of our biggest problems in the Philippines is corruption. Ang root of our problem in the Philippines is corruption, kasama rin yung drugs. Kung yun ang tina-target niya, good for him. Ayusin niya yung root ng problem natin.”

Dagdag niya, “Okay naman si PNoy [former President Noynoy Aquino], pero kung hahalungkatin ngayon...

“Kasama niya pala si [Senator Leila] de Lima doon, lumala pala yung Bilibid, di ba?

“I understand his [President Duterte] point, I also understand yung mga ginagawa niyang mali.

“Ang hirap sa Pilipinas kasi, sa dami nating problema, dapat piliin mo muna kung ano yung importante, e.”

Tulad ng ibang sumusuporta sa Pangulo, hindi raw pabor si Ariel sa pananalita ni Duterte tuwing lalabas ito sa telebisyon at mag-i-speech.

“He gets my approval, but like I said, when I watch him on TV, nagsasalita, I cringe! Tama naman silang lahat, he should be more dignified.

“I like that he's like that, but he has to understand, he represents the Philippines, e. Hindi naman siya nagbago noong mayor siya ng Davao, [pero] sakop niya lang Davao, e. But right now, he's representing the whole Philippines, may effect yun sa ating lahat, not like sa Davao.”



Natanong din ang aktor kung ano ang masasabi niya sa remark ni Agot Isidro kay Pangulong Duterte na 'psychopath'.

“Everybody should express their opinion. i'm totally for whatever Agot said. I agree with her, I do," ayon kay Ariel.

“Tama naman yung ginagawa ni Duterte na tina-target niya yung drugs. Gusto niyang ilabas yung mga corrupt officials, doon ako sa kanya.

“Pero we have our opinion, we should be able to express our opinion. We are a democratic country.”
