Sen. Angara Dares Paolo Duterte To Identify The Alleged Cocaine Addict Senator

Senator Angara appeals to Davao City’s Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte’s accusation yesterday. Paolo stated in an interview with GMA’s 24 Oras segment that there’s an alleged cocaine addict senator.

Duterte’s statement yesterday was a reaction to Matobato’s accusations that he’s a drug addict and he was the one who ordered the murder of Richard King.

Sen. Angara believes that Paolo Duterte should identify which senator he’s referring to as the ‘cocaine addict’. There 24 senators and currently they are all suspects due to the latter’s statement

I think he should name names, 24 ho kaming senador ang naririto, lahat ay suspects at it is now. Sanay ay pangalanan niya upang ma clear up ung ere at hindi mag speculate ang mga tao. Ako personally, I am willing to undergo a drug test pa nga.-Sen. Sonny Angara

Aside from Sen. Angara, Sen. Trillanes IV also airs his opinion, he said:

Hindi dapat idinadaan sa blind item ang nais mong isiwalat sa publiko, baka sa susunod naman ay may mag-aakusa na may senador na alcoholic o kaya naman ay may senador na mahilig  sa lechon. – Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
