LP denies alleged impeachment plot vs President Duterte
MANILA – Liberal Party (LP) legislators straight denied President Rodrigo Duterte's cases that the "yellows" are looking to impugn him.
Liberal Party bad habit administrator Senator Franklin Drilon denied any gathering inclusion in the assumed plot to remove Duterte which the President himself uncovered.
"We have not met on this and we deny that we are a piece of such plot, if surely such plot exists. The Liberal Party has nothing to do with it," said Drilon.
"Hindi po sinabi ng Pangulo kung sino yung mga dilaw," Drilon included.
LP individuals in the lower chamber likewise rejected the president's assertions, saying LP individuals who have a place with both the dominant part and the minority have never talked about the issue.
"We can securely say that to the extent the Liberal Party individuals from the House are concerned, both of the individuals who are with the greater part and who are with our gathering, have not discussed indictment," Northern Samar Representative. Raul Daza told the House journalists.
"We as a whole realize that under the constitution, the procedure of arraignment starts in the House and I'm certain that there has not been any discussion of indictment among the LP individuals," Daza said.
